Cleveland American Indian Movement needs your help to implement and promote our initiatives for indigenous people in Ohio. As a grassroots movement, Cleveland A.I.M. relies solely on the efforts of our members and volunteers from the community at large; we have no paid staff to do the important work we do.
Volunteers qualify for membership by service to the Native community. Volunteers are expected to serve on committees but do not have voting privileges reserved for members. All ideas are welcome, and no experience is necessary—just the willingness to advocate for justice for indigenous people.
Volunteers come from all walks of life and from all ages groups. Cleveland A.I.M. welcomes diversity and stresses the importance of community and exchange of ideas between all peoples. You do not have to be a Native person to volunteer for Cleveland A.I.M. or to become a member.
